Diane Gaile is the founder and owner of Mariah Art School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Western Oregon College, Monmouth, Oregon and is certified in Art Education Kindergarten through grade twelve. Mariah Art is celebrating its 20th year in business. Diane has taught well over 25,000 students in Olympia and surrounding areas. |
Paulette Johnson
Administrative Assistant
Paulette is excited to be a part of the Mariah Art School team. She recently relocated back to the Olympia area from Washington, DC. She graduated from CPVTI with a Nursing degree, but has been in the administrative field for 16 years. She has 4 children, 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She loves children very much, is so excited to be surrounded by them on a daily basis. Simply said, "children are at their finest moments when they are expressing their individual artistic talents". |
Heidi Hochstadt
Bookkeeper Extraordinaire/Office
Heidi has been with Mariah Art School since 2002. She has been married for 12 years and she has an 11 year old daughter that attended the school from 1999 – 2002, who still comes to blend in. She and her family love to camp and travel the open roads in their spare time. She has her own tax Business since 1999 (Heidi's Tax Service) and is currently a Girl Scout Troop Leader. |
Jackie Mendoza-Pierce
Office Staff In Charge - Start your day with Jackie at 7:00 am
Jackie has been an artist her whole life. In the morning she can be found drawing with the children. Jackie is fluent in Spanish and has traveled throughout Mexico and Peru. Her favorite art mediums are drawing with colored pencils, clay carving and acrylic painting. Jackie is currently illustrating a book she has written for her Grandchildren. She hopes to have it published soon. Jackie has 40 years of experience in Interior Design and is available for consultation. "Wacky Jackie" opens for Mariah in the morning and the kids think she is funny (looking). Jackie has known the owner Diane Gaile for fifteen years and has been employed at Mariah Art since 2002.
